  Half Price Christmas Trees!

  i'm selling christmas trees this year.....why not what else would anyone expect from a apostate in portland oregon....that will give some of my xjw friends something to talk about..... anyway if you want a christmas tree at cost, come see me.

  any tree on the lot half price.

  one of my best friends grows and sells trees.

  Shame on you Gilberto....

  There is nothing better then a "live" tree....the look...the wonderful smell...

  Plus trees are renewable resourse....where as "Fake" trees are made out of petroleum....and we all know there is only so much of that stuff around....LOL

  JWs just not important in this world no matter what they/we want to believe

  for most of us raised in the "truth" and i hate to use that term, we were brought up/and or taught to believe we were very important in this world.

  the message being preached, god's chosen people, yadda yadda.. so as we leave this religion, the things we can point to as being news worthy, those breaking the law in the ranks, coverups etc....its really small potatoes in the world at large, although to this group it is huge.. i believe that part of the letting go of the witness mentality is recognizing that in the end its all just a small cult that captured your soul, or you were born in and had no choice.

  it sucks bigtime, its larger than life for most of us, but in the bigger picture of life its a very small blip.. there is no question this religion has ruined/destroyed many lives, but to the world at large it isn't big enough to make a differnece to those not involved.. in reality, to use a horrible analolgy.....the jw's are just a pimple on the butt of the world.. .

  I think everyone in this world is impotant. I just believe they are any more important then anyone else.

  Anyway if you want a Christmas tree at COST, come see me. Any tree on the lot half price. One of my best friends grows and sells trees. He has 4 retail lots and sells them wholesale around the world. He is giving me my own lot. Nobles, Douglas & Grand firs, Garlands and Wreaths.

  My lot will be open on November 28. 2007. Adress 3615 N.E. Broadway Portland....Free Hot Apple Cider, Dean Martin and Frank Sinarta singing Christmas Music!...and the best prices on trees in town...

  Just say the pass word "Nohovah"....Thats what my grand daughter calls Jehovah!

  Is JWD #1.....My Therapist....his first advice on JW's, me, and divorce

  i have told my new therapist so much about jwd, some of the insightful comments here, and how much it has helped me and other dubs that we both now wonder if there are other jw help sites.

  i really don't know as this was the first and only one i ever found, and it was just what i needed.. he has pegged me well as impatient, and knows i was vocal about my wake-up from jw.

  his advice right now is to back off totally on trying to help any others, and i have told him that many here have said no one will wake-up until they want to for some reason.

  All I can say is...if your wife can respect whatever your new belielfs are, your marriage has a chance...If she can't well my friend....it will be only a matter of time before it unravels...Welcome to the Twlight Zone.

  he talks first about the world economy, then the u.s.a. and ends up with oregon's economy ....he usually is right on.

  Every year John Mitchell (the head economist for U.S.Bank) gives a talk to us Realtors, in Portland OR. He talks first about the world economy, then the U.S.A. and ends up with Oregon's economy ....he usually is right on. He perdicted housing prices peeking the third quarter of "06" he this came to pass. The title of his talk this year was "Still Sliding Towards the Trough."

  This last Friday November 16, 2007 he spoke again. I couldn't wait to here what he had to say.

  Over all, the economy is in pretty good shape. Areas of concern.

  1. Housing Contraction (He says the slide will hopfully end sometime in 2009) the best place to buy Utah 15.28% up. Neveda worst state with 1.45% down.

  2. Oil Shock (almost record price) will effect prices of "everything."

  3. Credit Tightening...

  4.Food Price Developments

  Bottom line we have only a 1 in 3 chance of a Recession.

  when i joined jwd i still felt the need for a 'support group' and jwd was full of similar people wanting to share their experience.

  now the time has come for me to leave - i am now able to put 35 years of jw living completely out of my head.. .

  many factors have helped me, and jwd was an important part of that, and i will always be grateful to simon for setting up this forum.. .

  The most important thing is do what feels right.

  Yes your right....the society want you to be an expert about things, my studing everything THEY HAVE WRITTEN about any given subject. NOT what other people have written about that subject.
